He is survived by: his mother Jane Frederick (Fair) of Kirksville; his wife Susan Frederick of Sullivan; his son Richard Frederick of Sullivan; and his siblings, Becky Endsley (Tom) of Humboldt, Brenda Rambo (Dave) of La Place and Robert Frederick of Kirksville.
