He is survived by: his mother Lida Hess (Shell) of Sullivan; his wife Patty Stark of Sullivan; his children, Blake Murray (Diana) of Decatur, Nick Hess (Haley) of Sullivan, Keath Murray (Brandie) of Winfield and Amanda Hess of St. Louis, MO; his grandchildren, Avery, Reagan, Peyton, Wesley, Nolan, Esther, Jordan and Kamri; and his siblings, Jim Hess of Sullivan and Susan Wood of Sullivan.
