He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Flannell and Lois Purdom Flannell; his wife Norma Jean Dorris; and his siblings, Fred (Irene), Kenneth, Claude, Cecil, LaVerne, Romaine, Janette and Nina.
He is survived by: his son Danny L. Flannell of Sullivan; his daughter-in-law Pat; his grandchildren, Evyn Leigh Flannell of Sullivan and Mead Daniel Flannell (Kascee) of Paris, Illinois.; his great grandchildren, Ava Leona Day, Ellen Marie Day, Rhett Daniel Flannell, Maclin Robert Flannell and Teddi Marie Flannell; and his sister-in-law Helen Lucille Casey. He is also survived by nephews, nieces and their children.
Rather than floral arrangements the family suggests memorial donations to a deserving charity of the donor's choice.
