We bid farewell to Marilyn Elzy of Sullivan, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 26, 2025 at the age of 91. Marilyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Marilyn leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Wood and Marjorie Hengst Wood; her husband Frank Elzy; and her son Eric. She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Jean Elzy of Charleston and Tania Marie Davis of Searcy, Arkansas. She is also survived by five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Greenhill Cemetery (2 W Harrison St, Sullivan, IL 61951).
