Marty Reynolds Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marty Reynolds of Sullivan, Illinois, who passed away on September 21, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Marty may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Marty touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Reynolds and Agatha Fournier Reynolds; his wife Mary Jane McCabe; his daughter Ann Marie Reynolds; and his brother James Reynolds.
He is survived by: his daughters, Theresa Bagwell (Jody) of High Rolls, Joanie Smith of Spring Lake and Christina Cyr (Bill) of Buckeye, Arizona. He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Reed Funeral Home (1112 S Hamilton St, Sullivan, IL 61951). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Columcille Catholic Church (516 W Jackson St, Sullivan, IL 61951).
