It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Smith of Sullivan, Illinois, born in Mattoon, Illinois, who passed away on July 30, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, James Lewis and Sylvia Brunson Shaw; her sister Sharon L. Lee; and her grandson Gerrick Smith. She is survived by : her husband Tom Smith of Sullivan; her children, Marilyn Smith of Sullivan, Duane Smith (Jodi) of Centralia and Danny Smith (Tina) of Bethany; and her sister Karen Carlen (Fred) of Mattoon. She is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
