He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Keith and Helen Slaughter (McCormick) of Virginia; and his siblings, Connie Kimrey (Paul), John Thomas "J. T." Slaughter (Linda) and Frank Slaughter.
He is survived by : his wife Sharon Ann (Bringle) of Sullivan, IL; his daughters, Kaye Stain (Billie) of Texas and Ann Wirey (David) of Texas; his grandchildren, Alicyn Ferguson (Jared), Mason Stain, Catherine Anderson (Joshua), Hannah Stain and Chloe Wirey; his great grandchildren, Somara Ferguson and Cameron Anderson; and his brothers, James Slaughter (Dolores) of Hinsdale, IL, Phillip Slaughter (Betty) of Mattoon, IL and Mark Slaughter of Mattoon, IL.. He is also survived by his brothers and nephews.
