He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Coy and Donna Ragen Coy; and his sister Kathy Glover. He is survived by : his wife Angela Lindley; his children, Misha Hutchings (Kris) of O'Fallon, Chris Coy of Sullivan and Brooke Garrison (Greg) of St. Charles, Missouri; his grandchildren, Konner Hutchings, Kyrstin Coy, Paiten Coy, Kensley Garrison and Jersey Garrison; and his siblings, Rhonda Creek of Neoga, Carla Coy of Sullivan and Tim Coy (Kim) of Sullivan.

Memorials are suggested to the Sullivan Fire and Ambulance Service.
