It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan Matusas of Sullivan, Illinois, born in Naperville, Illinois, who passed away on November 26, 2022, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, David W. Miller and Ruth Mark Miller; and her sister Nancy Bown. She is survived by : her husband Phillip Matusas of Sullivan; her children, Cory Matusas (Michelle) of Decatur, Jasmine Mize (Shane) of Lovington, Heather Matusas of Bethany, Holly Matusas (Nathan Tavoletti) of Bement and Phillip Matusas, II (Kristin) of Oak Harbor, Ohio; her siblings, Byron Miller (Pam) of St Charles, David Miller (Barbara) of West Chicago and Marcia Casey (Pat) of West Chicago; and her grandchildren, Brooklyn Matusas, Brett Matusas, Baylor Matusas, Tatum Williams, Laynee Williams, Alexus Mize, Gavin Alsup, Kalie Alsup, Olivia Matusas, Sofia Matusas, Phillip Matusas III and Rozalie Matusas.
Susan requested memorials to Moultrie County PAWS, 10 Leisure Acres, Sullivan, IL 61951, where she had adopted her two dogs, Gerdie and Stella.
