He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Minerva Franco Negron; his children, Melba Barragan (late Jose), Sylvia Romero (Jorge), Beatris Castillo (Alfredo), Cecilia Martinez (Martin), Walter VanFleet (Kimberly) and Jose Luis Negron (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Jacqueline, Stephanie, Carolyn, Steven, Maritza "Mitzie", Michelle, Jeanette, Katharine, Daisy, Dylan, Nicholas "Nicky" and Michael; and his great grandchildren, Dominic, Luca and Oliver.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Foran Funeral Home (7300 W Archer Ave, Summit, IL 60501). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
