He was predeceased by: his wife Lillian; his siblings, Gilbert (late Betty), Donald (late Doralee), Gail (late Harriet) and Betty (late George); and his brother-in-law Leon.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael (Cynthia) and Steven Van Meter (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Jacob, Matthew and Emma; and his sister-in-law Mary Forlenza.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Foran Funeral Home (7300 W Archer Ave, Summit, IL 60501). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
