Melvin will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Janet; his child Aubrey (Joseph) of Montana; and his siblings, Barbara L. Parker and Donald Parker (Carol).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Foran Funeral Home (7300 W Archer Ave, Summit, IL 60501). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
