He was predeceased by: his grandson Marcus Davis; and his parents, Vidal Salgado and Esther Salgado. He is survived by: his children, Erick Echavarry (Patsy), Kimberly Tiller (Mike), Sidney Salgado (Maria), Patrick Salgado (Maricruz) and Karla Libera (Phil); his grandchildren, Evan Echavarry, Amber Davis, Nicolette Davis, Treston Davis, Toni Brady, Rebecca Tiller, Caleb Salgado, Olivia Salgado, Terra Salgado, Lance Langer (Julisa), Katelyn Libera and Adam Libera; his brother Michael; his wife Oralia Salgado; and his brothers, Henry and Joseph. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at 8:00 PM and on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Foran Funeral Home - Summit (7300 W Archer Ave, Summit, IL 60501).
