He was predeceased by: his spouses, Maria Pilar Ramirez and Guadalupe Esqueda; and his children, Alejandro Ramirez, Roberto Ramos, Sylvia Lopez and Sergio Ramirez Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Gloria Venegas (Abraham), Juan Ramirez, Noel Ramirez and Maribel Ramirez. He is also survived by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
