Betty Barbara Roark Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Barbara Roark (Sumner, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 8, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Sartor and Helen Sartor (Cullop); her husband Carl Roark Jr.; her sister Peggy Bobe; and her daughter Rita Jill Roark.

She is survived by: her children, Carla Jo Roark of Sumner, IL, Mary Ann Lane of Olney, IL and Carl (Donna Roark) of Dundas, IL; her grandchildren, Joseph Lane of Carbondale, IL, Matthew Lane (Donna) of Plymouth, MN, Emma Roark of Decatur, IL, Abigail Roark of Mattoon, IL and Sara Roark of Dundas, IL; and her great grandchild Joshua Lane of Plymouth, MN. She is also survived by two nieces and one nephew.
