He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Leroy Bowser and Opal Biggs Bowser; and his parents-in-law, Leonard, Pauline Barker, William, Beatrice Barker, Sally Austin and Terry Barker.
He is survived by: his wife Delores A. Barker; his children, Robert L. Bowser (Amy) of Mt. Carmel and Denise Jerrell (Vergil) of Bargersville, Indiana; his in-laws, Jerry, Judy Paddick, Larry, Barbara Barker and David Austin; and his grandchildren, J. D. Bowser, Brendan Bowser, Jacob Jerrell and Andrew Jerrell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sumner Community Church (Victorious Children's Home in Kenya) or Allendale Education Foundation.
