He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Waldrop and Pauline Messenger Waldrop; his former wife Rosella Jean Perrott; his wife Sandra Ford; his son Ronald Waldrop; his daughters-in-law, Marsha Waldrop and Becky Waldrop; his stepson Brett O'Brien; his grandson Kyle Waldrop; and his siblings, Imogene Lindsey, Norma Jean Vanwinkle and Darrell Waldrop.

He is survived by: his sons, David "Dave" Waldrop of Sumner and Duane "Bub" Waldrop (Barbara); and his grandchildren, Jodi Wesley (Jess), Ryan Waldrop (Lindsey), Jeff Waldrop, Brady Waldrop, Jennifer O'Connor (Tim) and Stephanie Heyman (Brian). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sivert-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home (509 S Christy Ave, Sumner, IL 62466). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
