He was predeceased by: his father Mervin L. Thacker; and his siblings, Cathy Jackson and Kelly Thacker. He is survived by: his mother Leona Hilderbrand Thacker; and his brothers, Carroll Thacker (Pam) of Sumner, Michael Thacker of Indiana and Jeffery Thacker (Liz) of Oblong. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sivert-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home (509 S Christy Ave, Sumner, IL 62466). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
