With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lisa Kay Wells of Sumner, Illinois, who passed away on March 2, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Lisa shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Lisa farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis "Slim" Crouch and Aleta Jo Stevenson Crouch; and her brother David. She is survived by: her husband Kelly "Butch" R. Wells Jr.; her daughter Samantha Wells of Sumner; her pet Chessie; her brother-in-law Kevin Wells (Brenda Miller); and her sister Cindy Coley. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorial donations may be made to Claws and Paws Animal Rescue Center or the Christy Township Fire Protection District.
