It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Addie Ruth Williams of Sycamore, Illinois, who passed away on June 12, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Addie had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Addie may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Joyner and Mattie Joyner (Swafford); and her brother James D. Joyner. She is survived by: her children, Tracy Roberts (Paul) of Maple Park and Kyle Williams of Sycamore; her grandson Michael Strasburg (Erin) of Woodstock; her great grandchild Spencer James; and her brother Jerry Joyner of Montgomery. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home (2011 S 4th St, DeKalb, IL 60115). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
