She was predeceased by : her parents, Howard Dorsey and Marlys Dorsey (Oosting); and her brother William Dorsey. She is survived by : her sister Donna Harvey (Randy); her nephew Robert Dorsey; her nieces, Laura Beach (Jon), Amy Dorsey and Rebecca Cascio; and her pet Thelma.

A memorial fund will be established for the Tails Humane Society of DeKalb, Illinois for a continued effort to help animals.
