Carl Maness Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Maness of Sycamore, Illinois, who passed away on June 17, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carl Maness to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Maness Sr. and Madelyn Maness (Rohde); his brother Gary "Wayne" Maness; and his brother-in-law Homer Grady. He is survived by: his sons, Bradley Maness (Lindsay) of Wyanet, IL and Scott Maness (Basia Surma) of Lakemoor, IL; his grandchildren, Zack and Kyle; his sister LaVerna Grady; his sister-in-law Mary Maness; and his nephews, John Maness (Trysha) and Jacob Grady (Marie). He is also survived by several great-nieces, -nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Quiram Sycamore Chapel (1245 Somonauk St, Sycamore, IL 60178).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family for a fund to be established.
