With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Gautcher of Sycamore, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 16, 2025 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles Gautcher to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Gautcher and Dorothy Gautcher (Shoop); and his siblings, Howard Smith, Robert Smith and Barbara Gautcher Rafferty.

He is survived by: his wife Dianne Perusse; his sons, Greg (Dana), Chad and Brett (Joanna); and his grandchildren, Jillian, Carys, Burke, Marin, Brooks and Charlee. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law; brother-in-law; and cherished nieces, nephews, cousins and a wide circle of friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Chuck's honor to Shriners Children's Chicago, a cause close to his heart.
