It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charnelle Lewis of Sycamore, Illinois, born in Canton, Illinois, who passed away on August 20, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Ruth Kemper; her husband John L. Lewis; and her sister Mary Jenkins. She is survived by: her children, James R. Dorothy, John C. Lewis and Andrea P. Lewis; and her sisters, Janice Kemper, Caroline Gates and Diane Hollowell. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
