He is survived by: his sons, David Jr., Mike (Barbie), Todd (Amy) and Dennis (Christina); his siblings, Herb and Joan; his grandchildren, Theresa, Sydney, Riley, Kristina, Logan, Cassidy, Kendall, Tyler, Lauren, Andy, Thomas and Veronica; his great grandchildren, Dean, Marlene and Grace; his significant other Betty Ann; and also, Dave and Betty.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Butala Funeral Home (1405 Dekalb Ave, Sycamore, IL 60178). Viewing will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sycamore Methodist Church (160 Johnson Ave, Sycamore, IL 60178). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
