He was predeceased by: his parents, Shank David Barnes and Ella Mae (Staggs); his son Kit Lee Barnes; and his brother Phillip Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Jean Barnes; his children, Dewey Barnes Jr. (Cheryl Barnes), Jason Barnes (Kimberly Barnes) and Donna Mae Engh (Brandon Engh); his grandchildren, Ehlana Worley (Chris), Patience Sarfehjoo (Anthony), Kaitlin Kerr (Ian), Keegan O'Donnell, Johnathan Engh, Conner O'Donnell (Maria), Cole Barnes and Evan Barnes; and his siblings, Harold Barnes and Gail Mertz. He is also survived by 3 great- grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
