She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Spencer and Mildred Phyllis Spencer (Jones); her sister Shirley Justice; her husband Glen Johnson; her brother-in-law Larry Justice; and her cousins, Sissy and Bichon Frise.
She is survived by: her brother Terry Spencer; her niece Jacinda Shaffer; her stepchildren, Dirk Johnson, Cynthia Chereskin (Benjamin), Rachel Strack (Ted) and Jennifer Johnson (Richard Neubauer); her grandchildren, Amanda Johnson, Harlan Johnson (Lindsay), Nora Johnson and Henry Johnson (Nora Sagal); her stepchildren, Jacob Chereskin (Melissa), Alexander Chereskin, Will Strack (Patricia), Joseph Strack (Jillian), Tessa Dowd (Patrick), Emma Johnson and Georgia Johnson; her great grandchild Charley Johnson; and her grandchildren, Rafaela Chereskin, Gabriela Chereskin, Penelope Strack, Max Strack, Pierce Strack and Calvin Dowd. She is also survived by her four step-children.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Butala Funeral Home (1405 Dekalb Ave, Sycamore, IL 60178). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
