She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Thompson and Ellen Thompson (Corson); and her sister Shirley McCabe. She is survived by: her husband Rick Perkins; her daughters, Jessica Perkins (Cody) and Jaclyn Kepp (Larry); her brother Rick Thompson; her grandsons, Damere and Jasiyah Kepp; and her pet Toby.
Any donations made will go to Tails Animal Rescue, an organization that Janis supported.
