He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles J. Gibbens and Donna M. Gibbens (Baker); and his son Ben. He is survived by: his wife Susan K. Sivwright; and his children, Stacy Holden (Josh), Stephanie Spivey and Robert Gibbens.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Butala Funeral Home (1405 Dekalb Ave, Sycamore, IL 60178). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
