Marilyn Karl Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marilyn Karl (Sycamore, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 14, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Metzger and Erma Metzger (Westphall); and her brother Rich Metzger. She is survived by: her son Eric John Karl (Valerie Cranden); her grandchildren, Adam John and Ella Grace Karl; her daughter Konni Kay Torrente (Carlos); her grandchildren, Sydney Herra (RJ) and Nicole Kay Torrente; and her siblings-in-law, Bonnie Metzger, Albert Karl (Debby) and Katharine Weaver. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Butala Funeral Home (1405 Dekalb Ave, Sycamore, IL 60178). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials can be made to her family to be determined at a later date.
