He was predeceased by: his wife Toni L. Barkey; his father Lowell Kent Barkey; and his in-laws, Chuck and Norma Brinkley. He is survived by: his mother Sally J. Barkey (Horan); his daughters, Alexandra Barkey and Cassandra Heron (Brad); and his sister Lora Jendrzejczyk (Jeff). He is also survived by many grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (244 Waterman St, Sycamore, IL 60178).
