He is survived by: his wife Tammie M. Shered of Sycamore; his children, Kisha M. Shered, Monique S. Shaw (Shered) and Jason Michael Shered; his grandchildren, Alim Menelek Shah, Assata Nasira Shah, Ahmad Rasul Shah and Teo Michael Scott Faber; and his siblings, Shirley Woodson, Hattie Teagus (Frank), Alice Pringle (Larry), Jackie Shered and Aloise Davenport (Chris).
