The memory of Nathan Johnson of Sycamore, Illinois, who passed away on July 10, 2025 at the age of 98, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Nathan may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Nathan touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Johnson and Mabel Johnson (Rapple). He is survived by: his wife Mina Rhodes; his sons, David (Sherry), Charles (Vicki) and Kyle (Tracy); and his grandchildren, Hannah, Suzanne, Candace and Ethan. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a Memorial will be established for the Sycamore United Methodist Church.
