He was predeceased by: his parents, Fay Vandeburg and Rose Vandeburg (Johnson); his wife Marion Hall; and his brothers, Dale and Roger Vandeburg.
He is survived by: his sons, Steven C. Vandeburg, David L. Vandeburg and Jay W. Vandeburg (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Erin Elizabeth, Tyler Harrison, Benjamin L., Joshua D. and Samuel T. Vandeburg; and his sister Karen Ellis. He is also survived by his loving family and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sycamore United Methodist Church (160 Johnson Ave, Sycamore, IL 60178). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Sycamore United Methodist Church in care of the Butala Funeral Home and Crematory, 1405 DeKalb Ave., Sycamore, IL. 60178.
