He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Martin. He is survived by: his father Robert Martin; his wife Connie; his children, Matthew Martin (Tiffany), Andrew Martin (Yesenia) and Jessica Baack (Julian); his grandchildren, Andrew Baack (Michelle), Jett Baack, Dashel Baack and Lula Martin; his sister Mary Morgan (David); his brothers-in-law, Mike McMillan (Anne) and Dale McMillan (Mary Jo); and his pets, Salix and Ruthie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sycamore United Methodist Church (160 Johnson Ave, Sycamore, IL 60178). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Dementia Society of America (http://qr.dementiasociety.com) in Robert's name.
