Shirley Ann West Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 7, 2025, at the age of 77, Shirley Ann West of Sycamore, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Ann West to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Gassen and Elizabeth "Betty Lou" Gassen (Briggs); her sisters, Paula Jean Gray and Nancy Graves; her parents-in-law, Robert F. and Virginia West (Cross); and her brother-in-law Wendell Jisa.
She is survived by: her husband Peter West; her daughters, Becky West Wiegel (Ryan) and Katie West; her grandchildren, Cole, Scarlett, Jake, Anna and Patrick; and her siblings-in-law, Judy West Jisa and Michael West (Sue). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Butala Funeral Home (1405 Dekalb Ave, Sycamore, IL 60178). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Old Mill Park Clubhouse (39 Kloe Ln, Sycamore, IL 60178).
