She was predeceased by: her father Elmer "Bill" Blakeman; her mother-in-law Cynthia Powell; and her pet Copper. She is survived by: her mother Della Blakeman (Brown); her husband Jay Powell of Tallula; her sons, Cory Powell (Brandi Roberts) of Springfield and Logan Powell of Petersburg; her siblings, Mark W. Blakeman (Lisa) of Russell Springs, Melissa L. Blakeman of Springfield and Patricia L. Niemeier (Jim) of Pleasant Plains, Illinois; and her father-in-law Gerald W. Powell, Sr.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
