She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Resch and Cecilia Resch (Smugala); her husband Allen Koenegstein; and her siblings, Leonard Resch and Jo Ann Floyd.
She is survived by: her daughter Traci Koenegstein of Tamaroa; her granddaughter Madysen Hicks of Tamaroa; and her great grandchildren, Kynleigh Clark of Tamaroa and Kaia Hicks of Tamaroa. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Searby Funeral Home (107 S Walnut St, Tamaroa, IL 62888). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Friends may make memorials to St. Francis Care in Murphysboro and will be accepted at the funeral home.
