He is survived by: his wife Patricia Jean Motzny; his daughters, Diane Bailey (Steve) of Tamaroa, Mary Kay Marcquenski (Tony Boyer) of Belleville, IL, Laura Pestka of Scheller, IL and Karen Cross (Bob) of Excelsior Springs, MO.; his grandchildren, Emily Drone (Cody Ophoff) of Hastings, MI, Sarah Farmer (Butch) of Marion, IL, Tori Bailey of Indianapolis, IN, Paige Kurwicki (Holden) of O'Fallon, IL, Kyle Brocaille (Kayla) of Lebanon, IL and Grant Pestka (Haley Szczepanski) of Tamaroa; his stepgrandson Derek Cross of Excelsior Springs, MO; his great grandchildren, Moxie, Murphy Farmer, Cameron Kurwicki, Lucy Pestka, April and Brocaille; and his stepgreat-granddaughter Frankie Cross.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Hospice of Southern Illinois, or the Perry County Humane Society, and will be collected at the funeral home.
