She was predeceased by: her parents, James B. Wilson and Opal Wilson (Grant); and her sisters, Dimple Honey (John), Geneva Harvell (Gerald), Virginia Goddard (Bill), Patsy Brown (Delmar), LaVerne Thompson (Harold) and Brenda Sue Wilson.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Miller, Jr. and Tammy Thurman (Lin); and her grandchildren, Matthew Miller (Katy), Mindy Pitts, Megan Sanchez (Patrick), Grant Thurman and Bryce Thurman. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be made to Rose Hill Cemetery and/or Sandy Creek Baptist Church.
