He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Sharp and Rosetta Sharp (Petro); his wife Patsy Miller; and his siblings, Martha Knox (Kenny) and John Sharp.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald "Bruce" Sharp, Jr. of Tampico, Randy Sharp of Tampico and Jill Calkins (Roy) of Rock Falls; his sisters, Peggy Miller of Morrison and Cora Bellini (Jim) of Sterling; his sister-in-law Deb Sharp of Rockford; his brothers, Roy Sharp, Jr. (Shirley) of Sterling and John Moser (Teresa) of Sterling; and his grandchildren, Brandy Prajapati (Ronit), Michelle Peltier (Bruce), Dakota Sharp (Allison), Ashley Frey (Chris), Tyler Blevins (Brittany), Cody Calkins (Rachel) and Lexi Sharp. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
