He is survived by: his mother Jeanette Akin (Gerber); his wife Cheryl Fobert; his children, Brooke Hendrickx (Derrick), Robbie Akin and Kari Anderson (Tyler); his grandchildren, Zach, Josh Hendrickx, Kai and Eli Anderson; his sister Diane Kinser (John); and his pets, Ayla, Loki and Gizmo. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
