He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward P. Vroman and Edna M. Vroman (Dunlap); his daughter Jan Vroman; his granddaughter Laura Vroman; and his brother Edward J. Vroman.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Carol Wood; his children, Michael Vroman (Bonnie), John Vroman (Rosa), Christine Vroman and JoAnn DePauw (Jeff); his grandchildren, Guy Foutch (Janet), Delores Foutch, Rodney Foutch, Alicia Albus (Daniel), Patrice Vroman, John Vroman (Sarah) and Heather Bogart; his great grandchildren, Theresa Albus, Lawrence Albus, Michael Albus, Gabriel Albus, Jackson Vroman and Puratee Bogart; and his brother Paul Vroman (Nancy).
A rosary will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home & Crematory (201 4th Ave E, Milan, IL 61264). Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory (201 4th Ave E, Milan, IL 61264). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (9619 140th St W, Taylor Ridge, IL 61232). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at the Calvary Cemetery (1500 31st Ave, Rock Island, IL 61201).
