He is survived by: his wife Carol Hofer-Howell; his children, Brett Parchert of Seattle, WA and Beth Vroman (Chris Salman) of Downers Grove, IL; his stepchildren, Cynthia Koehler, Vicky Ryckaert, Taylor Ridge and Julie Kerres; his grandchildren, Grace, Natalie and Jack; and his brothers, Bill Parchert (Marilyn) and Paul Parchert (Lucinda). He is also survived by 4 step-grandchildren and 10 step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home (201 4th Ave E, Milan, IL 61264). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (18121 134th Ave W, Taylor Ridge, IL 61284).
