He is survived by: his wife Rovilla Maxwell (Anderson) of Taylorville, IL; his children, Charles Eric Maxwell of Stonington, IL, Carla Scribner (Tom) of Decatur, IL and Stephen Maxwell (Juanita) of Taylorville, IL; his grandson Paul Maxwell (Teresa); his children, Charlene Maxwell, Ryan Scribner (Kristen), Mallory Scribner (Ryan), Sean Maxwell and Kaitlyn Kalk (Kyle); and his brothers, Marvin Maxwell and Lloyd Maxwell (Sharon). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shafer-Perfetti & Assalley Funeral Home (202 W Franklin St, Taylorville, IL 62568). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
