With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Doreen Bilyeu of Taylorville, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 11, 2025 at the age of 64. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Doreen had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Doreen may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her father Roger Reber. She is survived by: her mother Darlene Reber (Doran) of Taylorville; her sons, Dylan Bilyeu of Phoenix and Dalton Bilyeu of Taylorville, Illinois; her sisters, Teresa Wiseman of Taylorville, Peggy Reber of Taylorville and Joyce Snyder of Mississippi; and her siblings' children, Megan Barry (L. C. Barry), Kristi Wiseman, Ashley Snyder Barnette, Josh Wiseman and Jeremy Snyder. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sutton Memorial (327 N Clay St, Taylorville, IL 62568). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
