He was predeceased by: his father Douglas Lee. He is survived by: his mother Mary Jane Kohl (Royer); his children, Jarrett Kohl and Caroline Kohl; his brother O. J. Kohl (Julie); and his partner Alissa Sherwood of Taylorville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In Leu of Flowers, memorials may be made to the Doc Kohl Memorial Fund at Midland Bank in Taylorville. This fund will be used to help with his kid's college fund.
