He is survived by: his children, Caitlin Beck (Karl) and Jordan DeWilde (Diego); his grandsons, Griffin and Marshall Beck; his brother John DeWilde (Arlene); and his close friend Sharon Schaubert. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or a local humane society.
