We are sad to announce that on December 20, 2023 we had to say goodbye to James Muir of Taylorville, Illinois, born in Nokomis, Illinois. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of James Muir to show support.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Eugene Debs Muir and Ruby Lavonne Muir (Ruppert); his wife Margaret Louise Stanbery; and his siblings, Thomas Eugene Muir, Doris West, Alice Mercer, Phyllis Ashworth and Barbara Rodafelt.

He is survived by : his children, Thomas Eugene Muir (Loretta) of Thayer, IL and Carmen Lea Little (Alan) of Litchfield, IL. He is also survived by five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and eleven great-great-grandchildren.
