He was predeceased by : his parents, Bruce O'Dell and Ethel O'Dell (Pauley); and his siblings, John Wayne O'Dell, Jerry Lee O'Dell, Delores Allen, Sharon Rose Walker and Victoria Davis.

He is survived by : his siblings, Frances Trail, Susan Kingery, Kenneth O'Dell of Decatur and Thomas O'Dell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and cousins.
